FOUNDING RECTOR
OF INTERNATIONAL VISION UNIVERSITY
Prof. Dr. Fadil HOCA

       Prof. Dr. Fadil HOCA, was born in 1963 in Gostivar (North Macedonia) . After completing his undergraduate studies in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, he completed his graduate (MA) studies in the Department of Ancient Turkish Literature at the Faculty of Letters of Istanbul University, and his doctorate "Kiril and Methodius" State University in Skopje and lectured at the same university between 1989-2019. He also taught as a visiting professor at “Gotse Delchev” University in Shtip between 2010-2013.

  He has published 4 different books so far and over 80 articles in different national and international journals and in different languages (Turkish, Macedonian, Serbian, English, Russian). He is a founding member of “SHAR VARDAR” Science, Culture and Art Foundation.

  He carried out number of duties, such as The President of ADEKSAM - Center for Education and Culture between 2000 – 2004, a member of the Executive Board of The Humanitarian Organization EL-HILAL in Skopje in the period 2005-2015, and General President of MATUSITEB (Association of Turkish NGOs in Northern Macedonia) in the period 2004-2008.

From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the advisory board of the Turkish Democratic Party. He executed the duty as the editor-in-chief of the international reference scientific journal HIKMET from 2009 to 2019. In addition, he has been a member of scientific research boards in many references international scientific journals.

In 2013, he was elected as the Academician of the Year in North Macedonia by the Ministry of Education Science of the Republic of North Macedonia.

In 2014, he was deemed worthy for his contribution to the development of Turkish culture by the Turkish Folk Culture Research Institute in Ankara - Turkey.

In 2015, he was awarded the Sulejman Brina International Award for Contribution to the Development of Turkish Culture in the Balkans in Prizren - Kosovo.

He executed as the head of the delegation for the Graduation Exams organized by the Ministry of Education of Macedonia and Science in the period of 2013-2017.

From 2019-2020 he executed the Presidency of the Alliance of Southeast European Universities (SEEU).

In 2017-2022, he executed as the head of the certified/sworn translator delegation within the Ministry of Justice of Macedonia.

From 2014 - 2022, he executed as the Founding Rector of the International VISION University for two term of periods.

He is married and the a father of two children.

           Dear students,

         Taking into account the structure of European and Balkan geography, the sustainable development, the improvement and the existence is mainly developed through education. In general, in Europe and the Balkans, and locally in Macedonia, the problem with higher education is at the top of the problems of the minorities living in the regions.

             On this basis, the International Vision University was established, and our main goal is to eliminate the shortcomings in the field of education and to integrate the educational staff and academics from the relevant systems of the Balkan countries, to ensure integration, to redevelop the social dynamics. and to maintain the constructive presence of the minority element in the country and in the Balkan region.

             The main priority of the International VISION University is to get you better education and better preparation for your professional life. As the University, we declare that we will try the best to prepare you for the European and global competition, and as VISION alumni we greet you with respect and reverence.
