18TH INTERNATIONAL TURKISH SOCIAL SCIENCES CONGRESS WAS HELD WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF INTERNATIONAL VISION UNIVERSITY


The 18th International Turkish Diaspora Social Sciences Congress, which was a platform for scientific production and sharing of academicians and researchers from the Turkish countries, was held online at 10:00 at the Zoom Platform due to the coronavirus epidemic that affected the whole world in 2020.


The opening session at the Congress held, over 200 papers were planned to be presented in 5 parallel sessions in 2 days. The names of the cities of Khankendi, Agdam, Garabagh, Jabrayil and Shusha, which were among the most important cities of the region, were given to the halls in order to commemorate the just struggle of Azerbaijan, which left its mark on the political agenda of the Turkish Diaspora in the last months of 2020. After the opening speeches, the Special Session of Turkish Diaspora was held in Khojaly Hall.


In this Special Session, International Vision University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Fadıl HOCA made his presentations on the Coronavirus Outbreak in the Turkish Diaspora: Effects on Education, Economy and Political Life. The congress continued until Sunday, December 13th.
